I took my boat to this marina because they are a Mercury dealer and have factory certified Mercury mechanics on

staff in hopes that I would have a fast and quality service experience. This however was not the case. The first time they had my boat for a fuel issue the boat was there for over a month and the bill was over $1200. I sea trialed the boat and it did the same thing as when I brought it in. Second time they had the boat for over a month again and the bill was over $800 and after I sea trialed it and was really surprised that the engine was still doing the same thing. I was towed in by another boater and I dropped off the boat in their canal and left the keys hanging on their door. When they called me the next morning I told them that I was not going to pay any thing more and they needed to repair my vessel. I asked if they even tested it to know the results of their efforts, I was told that there is an hour and a half labor charge for them to sea trial ($150 approx.) Their third attempt to repair my boat took 3 months and followed with a bill of over $1500. After I told them that was crazy and that I was not going to pay the bill was dropped to $860. Based on my 5 month, $2,860 (approx.) this is the worst display of a factory certified mechanic, a marine mechanic in general and a horrible turn time for repairs. When I went to pick the boat up and pay the bill the manager was quick to show me his $550 loss in labor which was taken off the bill. I took this as an insult and a lack of customer service and professionalism. Where is the regard for my time and money? Where is the regard for mis-diagnosed problems, inept mechanical abilities and a waste of money for parts not needed, labor and my time? I will not recommend their business to anyone I come in contact with in our small community.
