I hired Dewey Acker of Acker Marine to survey a 40' trawler. He spent only three hours (including the launch and sea trial) performing the survey on this boat and its many complex systems. He failed to notice or report that the boat has significant problems that should have been obvious to any professional surveyor that was awake and sober during the survey. The lousy job he did cost me big $$$$$. DO NOT use ACKER MARINE, you will be very sorry.
