Great location in a protected area but it's the area not the marina that is great.

Seven Seas Cruising Association members avoid it for good reason. As a member I tend to agree.
We have an annual get together at the Eau Gallie Civic Center in the area and generally as a rule prefer to anchor out and use a handy dock.

Sometimes it is creature comforts that are sought in inclimate weather and a marina can make such times much more comfortable with shore power and laundry facilities.

We found the live aboards were generally displeased with the services and over all attitude of the marina operators. We had no personal problems but as transients you are not privy to what may be common knowledge among locals.

I will not criticize specifics but suffice to say it was a miserable stay the two times we docked there.

Kept the boat there for 3 years. Hated it.
